I've been working on the plein air painting quite a bit. I was out last week in extreme temps, painting and having some fun with it. I hope to get out a little bit this week, but right now that doesn't look too promising.

Good Morning!

First, apologies for the disappearing act. Things got a little out of control around here. Errands, houseguest and I've been working on some larger paintings again. But, I'm back and here's a new driveby painting. I was coming home from Pennsylvania one evening when I saw this yellow piece of sky. It was fascinating.

Today, I'm volunteering at the mill in Millville, VA. I have work in the show and will be spending the afternoon there. If you are in the area, drop in. It's a good show, an interesting place and a lovely drive in the country. If you don't get there today, be sure and come on the weekend and check it out. You won't be disappointed.
