Oil painting, "Looking up"

"Looking Up"
Oil on canvas
9 x 10 inches
Sides painted and gallery wrapped
$40. Shipping $10.
Good Morning,
I've been busy painting and preparing for shows. I was fortunate enough to be juried into some shows this month, so I have been framing my work and getting it ready to show.
Today, I was to paint outdoors, but the cloudy sky made everything look drab, so I opted to stay home and work on a large still life instead.
I took some time out to work on this small painting from my trip to the bluebell fields earlier this year.
Enjoy,
Glynis

Oil painting, "Bluebells #2"

"Buebells #2"
Oil on canvas
Sides are painted and gallery wrapped.
9 x 12 inches
$50. Shipping $10.
Good Morning,
Another day at the easel. I was happy to be indoors today as it was brutally hot out there.
I've been working with the bluebell images again. The bluebell fields were beautiful, yet painting them is difficult. I struggled with them before and still seem to have a hard time with it. I have a lot of pictures of this brief event, so there is plenty to work with.
I found some minor success with this piece. Hopefully I'll be successful with a larger painting as well.
Until tomorrow,
Glynis

Oil painting "Bluebells #1"

"Bluebells #1"
Oil on canvas
9 x 12 inches
Sides painted, gallery wrapped
This painting is not for sale at this time.
Good Morning!
Here is the first of the bluebell paintings. There will certainly be more. I took a lot of photos and have so many possibilities with this. I'm looking forward to painting outside, but now, while it's raining, these paintings will be a good substitute.
Enjoy,
Glynis

Oil painting-"Watson"

Good Morning!

I asked Olivia if she would permit me to share her portrait and she agreed. This is a painting of her dog "Watson". I think she did a fantastic job and Watson likes it, too.

I went out with Ute today, to paint. The weather was beautiful and once we started walking in the fields of bluebells, we just kept going. No painting, but I did take enough photos to do a painting or two. It was just too nice to stand still. Exploration is always good and I can use the exercise. It was a good hike in a beautiful forest. Thanks, Ute!

I hope to have a painting to show tomorrow.
Until then, please enjoy this wonderful painting of Watson.
