Oil painting on canvas, "Red Floral"

"Red Floral
8 x 10 inches
Oil on canvas
60. shipping 10.
Good Morning!
After my trip south, I had a lot of photos. One was this viney, floral thingy growing on a wall. I was so taken with the color, I had to paint it when I got home. Things happened and I got delayed, but did manage to get back to it later in the spring.
Enjoy,
Until tomorrow.

Oil painting on canvas, "Ancestral View"

"Ancestral View"
Currently at the Burwell Morgan Mill
Clarke County, VA.
Now available at www.glynisberger.com
Good Morning!
This painting is being show at the Mill. I think the show is over on Oct. 19 and I will post the purchase info then.
Last year when I was out on a plein air trip with the sketch club, I too a hike and found a cave overlooking a river. I thought about what the first people here saw and knew I was seeing the same thing. In fact I was probably standing in their living room! It would have been really hard to paint inside the cave, so I took some photos for a later date. I painted it this summer.
It's quite large, 22 x 28. Fortunately it was juried into the Mill show.
More tomorrow!
Ah... it's good to be back!

I'M BACK!

Back Porch
Oil on Canvas
8 x 10 inches
60. shipping 10.
Good Morning!
It's good to be back! A busy summer and autumn, but I have been painting right along. There's so much to show and tell! I've had some successes, some delrailments, some journeys, and a lot of work this summer. During all of it, I had to give up blogging for awhile. Now, I'm catching up.
I managed to do a few small paintings with the sketch club this summer. "Back Porch" is one of those.
I was a guest artist at Gallery 222 in Leesburg for the Western Loudoun Artist Studio Tour. I would call my participation in that show quite successful.
I went to New Hampshire for a week for Winslow's toe surgery. A stressful time, but another huge success.. thanks to Dr. Bruno Massat, the best doggy surgeon in the world.
I painted in New Jersey and will show you those paintings and many others in the coming weeks.
So, get ready! Lots of art and good stories.
Until tomorrow!
