Stagnation

Good Morning,

I'm writing from Charleston SC...
I was having problems with feeling stagnant in my art, so I decided to shake things up and take a road trip. I've never been to Florida, so I decided to travel to North Carolina and visit some artists in Asheville, then to Charleston SC and onto Savannah, GA.. I hope to paint while I'm travelling, but havent yet. I have been taking some photos to work from when I get home. I will post photos of paintings as they happen. Meanwhile, my posts will be sporatic for awhile. Thanks for bearing with me while I pull myself out of a rut.

Good Morning,

I've been working on some bigger paintings and I haven't shown any on this blog for awhile.

I was in St. Lucia a few years ago and was really amazed at the landscape there. Rain forest, ocean, mountains and a volcano all on a very small island. I hear it's becoming very commercialized now, so I'm glad I got to go when it was less of a tourist attraction.
