Good Morning!

The painting above is from my trip south. I met a woman in Savannah who was weaving baskets. I found the strength in her hands amazing. In the morning light the whole process took on a beauty of it's own. This won't be the last painting of her.

It's been a very busy couple of weeks. With the holiday, garden, and various spring cleaning, this blog has been neglected. I apologize. I have been painting and mostly every day. I've submitted the paintings to the Millwood show, and am planning to do a demo there on May 5 with a friend. If you are anywhere nearby, please stop by and see the show and watch us paint a bit. I've also started planning what I intend to show during the Art Tour in June.

I'm trying not to wait until the last minute to put this together.
