Driveby #2 goes to auction

As you know, I often donate my blog paintings to auctions that raise money for Greyhound cancer research. "Driveby #2" was selected to be auctioned at the huge Greyhound gathering at Dewey Beach, Delaware this weekend.

Good Morning,

I have decided to take some time away from my oil paint and work on some large abstracts. I do this when I feel restless about my paintings. A few years ago, I took abstract painting classes to try something new and really loved it. Although I don't continually paint in this style, I find myself going there on occasion.

This painting will be available at http://www.de-yong.com/. My other abstract paintings can be seen on this site as well. I hope you will visit. I fondly refer to this site as my "alter ego".

Meanwhile, I may try to do some smaller abstracts that can be featured here on the blog. It's all part of the adventure.
