Waterford Art Show and other things.

Good Morning,

I returned from my short vacation to find all kinds of things happening. I haven't painted in about a week, but I do have work in a number of exhibits in the area. I entered the above painting "Mirage" in the Waterford Art Show. Much to my surprise, I won the award for "Best Loudoun County Artist". The show is this weekend only, so if you're in Waterford, the fair is the place to be. Be sure to check out the red barn show upstairs and the art mart downstairs!
There will be plenty of art, crafts, food and the home tours, too.

The Aldie show closes this week, and the Millwood Show opens on Saturday. My friend Becky, and I will be doing a painting demon on Oct. 17th. from 3-5 PM. If you're in the area, stop in and watch us paint.

I'm off to paint with friends today, getting back on track after my time off. I did take the time to totally clean my studio in preparation for the winter months of painting indoors.
